Me, standing on the street near Petőfi bridge with the Danube swirling around my feet.
With the recent flooding of the Danube (or duna in Hungarian) we went to go and have a look last Wednesday. Near Petőfi bridge, the river had overflowed into the street, which was already closed for traffic, so I went to stand on it for a picture. Soldiers and volunteers in towns were packing sand bags all along the river to try to hold back the water.
